1. Controller
The controller responsible for processing personal data on this website is eCrome Group AG, Fürstenlandstrasse 41, CH-9000 St. Gallen, info@ecrome.com. Please send any data protection enquiries to datenschutz@ecrome.com.
2. Principle
We process personal data in accordance with the Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and the Data Protection Ordinance (DPO). We collect only the data required for the respective purpose.
3. Visiting the website
When you access the website, our web server stores technically necessary information in log files: IP address, date and time, page accessed, referrer and browser information. This data is used to operate the website securely and is deleted after 30 days.
The website is hosted in Switzerland. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies, nor any third-party analytics tools. Fonts and scripts are loaded from our own server; no data is transmitted to third parties in the process.
4. Contact form and email
If you write to us via the contact form or by email, we process your details (first name, last name, company, email, phone, message) solely to respond to your enquiry and to any follow-up questions. We use Microsoft 365 for email correspondence; data may therefore also be processed outside Switzerland, safeguarded by the standard contractual clauses and the provider’s supplementary agreements.
To protect against automated submissions (spam), your browser solves a small computational task (ALTCHA) when you fill in the contact form. The solution is verified solely on our server; no cookies are set and no data is passed to third parties. To limit abuse, we also store, for no more than 24 hours, a non-reversible value (hash) derived from your IP address, from which the address cannot be reconstructed.
We retain enquiries for as long as is necessary to process them and delete them afterwards, unless statutory retention obligations apply.
5. Disclosure
Your data may be shared within the eCrome group (eCrome Group AG, eCrome Consulting AG) to the extent necessary to process your enquiry. Data is disclosed to other third parties only to carefully selected processors (e.g. hosting) or where we are legally obliged to do so.
6. Your rights
You have the right to access the personal data we process about you, to have it rectified or erased, to receive it in a portable format, and to object to its processing. To exercise these rights, please contact us at the address above. You may also lodge a complaint with the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).
7. Data security
The website is delivered exclusively via an encrypted connection (HTTPS). We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss and unauthorised access.
8. Changes
We may amend this privacy policy at any time. The version currently published on this website applies.
